In-person coaching
In-person coaching with us is hands-on, individualised, and purposeful. Every session is designed around you — your movement quality, your training history, your goals, and how you are feeling on the day. Sessions are available 1:1 or in small groups of up to three, allowing for focused coaching in a calm, professional environment without the noise and distraction of a commercial gym.
This is not personal training by template. Every session is planned, coached in real time, and progressed deliberately over weeks and months to build genuine, lasting results.
who is it for
This service is suited to individuals at a wide range of training stages and experience levels, from those new to structured exercise through to recreational and competitive athletes. Whether you are returning after time away from training, looking to improve your health and physical capacity, managing training alongside the demands of sport, or aiming to develop strength, movement quality, and performance, in-person coaching provides tailored guidance, direct feedback, and ongoing accountability. It is particularly valuable for those who benefit from expert coaching, technical support, and regular face-to-face input to make consistent, meaningful progress.
How It Works
-
Movement Screening and Performance Profiling — Following an initial discussion around your goals, training background, injury history, and current needs, we use movement screening and, where appropriate, performance profiling to identify key areas for attention before training begins. This helps ensure the programme and coaching approach are aligned to your starting point, demands, and objectives.
-
Programme Design — A structured plan is built around your goals, schedule, and current capacity. This is not a generic template — it is written for you.
-
Coached Sessions — Each session is coached in real time. Technique, load, tempo, and intensity are all managed with your feedback and my observation informing every decision.
-
Ongoing Progression — Training is reviewed and progressed regularly. Load, volume, and complexity increase systematically as your capacity develops.
frequently asked questions
Do I need to have trained before?
Not at all. In-person coaching is suitable for complete beginners through to experienced athletes. The programme and approach are adjusted to suit your starting point.
How many sessions per week do I need?
This depends on your goals and schedule. Most clients start with two sessions per week. We will discuss the most realistic and effective structure during your initial consultation.
What should I bring to sessions?
Comfortable training kit and footwear. Everything else is taken care of.
What if I have an injury or health condition?
Injuries and health considerations are factored into your programme from the outset. If a referral to another professional is appropriate, this will be discussed openly.
How quickly will I see results?
This depends on your goals and baseline. Most clients notice improvements in how they move, feel, and perform within four to six weeks of consistent training.
