Our online coaching service delivers fully personalised strength and conditioning programming through an app-based platform, supported by regular communication, video review, and structured check-ins. Whether you are based outside Wellington, have a demanding schedule, or simply prefer the flexibility of training on your own terms, online coaching gives you the framework and expert oversight to train with purpose — wherever you are.

 

This is not a generic plan dropped into an app. It is a coaching relationship. Your programme is written for you, reviewed regularly, and progressed based on real feedback.

Online coaching is well suited to individuals who want structured, expert-led training with greater flexibility and less reliance on fixed session times. It works particularly well for those with busy or unpredictable schedules, people returning to exercise after time away, individuals who travel regularly, and those who want clear direction rather than trying to manage training on their own. It is also highly effective for those balancing training alongside sport, work, or other commitments, providing personalised programming, ongoing communication, and the support needed to train consistently, safely, and effectively year-round.

How It Works

  1. Onboarding Consultation — A detailed video or phone call covers your goals, training history, schedule, available equipment, and any injury considerations.

  2. Programme Delivery — Your programme is built and uploaded to your personal app dashboard, with exercises, sets, reps, tempo, and coaching cues all clearly laid out.

  3. Session Logging — You log each session in the app, recording completed sets, loads, and any notes. This creates a real-time picture of your training for ongoing review.

  4. Video Review — Where technique guidance is needed, you can upload video clips for review. Feedback is provided clearly and practically.

  5. Weekly or Fortnightly Check-In — A short weekly check-in covers how training is feeling, energy levels, sleep, and any issues. Programme adjustments are made accordingly.

  6. Regular Programme Updates — Programmes are updated every four to eight weeks based on progress, performance data, and your feedback.

What equipment do I need?

This depends entirely on what you have available. Programmes can be written for fully equipped gyms, home set-ups with limited kit, or anything in between. This is discussed during onboarding.

 

How do we communicate?

Primarily through the coaching app, supplemented by video calls or phone when needed. You will always have a clear line of communication and can expect a response within 24 hours.

 

What if I miss sessions or fall behind?

Life happens. If you miss a week or fall off track, your programme is adjusted to reflect where you are now — not where you were supposed to be.

 

Is online coaching as effective as in-person?

For many clients, yes. Research supports the effectiveness of well-structured remote coaching when communication and programme quality are high. It is not the right fit for everyone, which is why onboarding includes an honest conversation about what will serve you best.
